eduroam
About eduroam
As part of the Free Public Wi-Fi service that APNK provides in public libraries, there is a Wi-Fi option called eduroam.
eduroam (which is short for ‘education roaming’) is a worldwide roaming access service that allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain internet connectivity at their campus or offices and when visiting other participating institutions, including APNK-supported public libraries. This means that students, researchers or staff can use single sign-on and move seamlessly between different eduroam sites without having to log on again.
